Your assets deserve
to actually work.
Most asset creators make something worth buying — then watch it underperform because getting it running in an engine is painful. Devs who get stuck don't leave great reviews. Cosmire fixes that.
Good work shouldn't be let down
by a bad integration experience.
Every buyer sets up your work from scratch. How is it sliced? What are the animation names? Work you already understand, rebuilt by every developer who downloads it.
Your reviews reflect the setup experience, not the art. Assets that take time to configure average lower than simpler work that just drops in. You made something better — the score doesn't show it.
Spritesheets and tilesets are the most useful assets — and the hardest to integrate. The engine tooling exists. Nobody's been building the bridge between your art and those systems. We call our solution Magnetic Imports.
Your assets.
Engine-ready.
Magnetic Imports is our first feature for creators. Instead of a folder and a readme, every asset comes with the engine setup already done — resource files configured, animations named, spritesheet grids mapped. Select your engine, provide your project path. Done.
Engine-ready files
Engine-specific resource files a developer would otherwise spend an hour making by hand. Godot .tres files, animation configurations, spritesheet slicing data. Done once. Delivered to everyone.
Documentation that works
Setup guides written for the specific engine, plus LLM-structured docs for developers building with AI assistance. Not a generic readme — documentation that matches what the developer actually sees.
Starting with Godot
Character spritesheets and tilesets first, Godot first. More engines and asset types added as we build with our first creators.
Built for creators who
deserve a better platform.
Itch is a great place to exist. It's not a great place to grow. Cosmire does two things Itch never has: makes your assets actually usable, and puts them in front of developers who won't find you on a creator-centred marketplace.
- Active distribution, not passive listing — your work placed in front of game dev platforms and studios who don't browse Itch.
- Usability drives reviews — Magnetic Imports makes sure your rating reflects your art, not the setup experience.
- You keep 95% of every sale — we take 5%, below the industry standard 10%.
- A call with every creator who applies — a real conversation before you commit to anything.
- Creators control fair AI team access — you choose whether to offer fair access to AI teams. Opt in, and get paid proportionally for usage.
Magnetic Imports is just the beginning. The creators who list now are the foundation everything else is built on — Bedrocks, fair AI team access, tools we're still figuring out with you. As the platform grows, the assets already on it become more valuable. You grow with it, and you get paid as it grows.
Built by people who've set up
one too many spritesheets by hand.
We're not a platform that stumbled into game assets. We came from inside indie game development — and Magnetic Imports exists because we hit the same wall your buyers hit.
Jason has spent years inside indie game communities — playing, studying, and building. He knows which assets are worth using because he's the one who's had to set up undocumented spritesheets and ship anyway. He built Magnetic Imports because he hit the same wall your buyers hit.
Hotaka's background in licensing and infrastructure is what makes Cosmire's creator-first model actually work. His native Japanese fluency also means Cosmire has direct access to Japan's prolific indie asset scene from day one.
